Description:

The Terminator, a M12 connector molded with a 120 ohm resistor inside it, located at each end of the NMEA 2000 backbone or other devices cable termination. Proper termination helps ensure signal integrity across the entire length of the boat backbone.

Applications:

~Serves to prevent the transmission into the network of the reflected signal.
~It is installed on all ends of free cables.
~If you need to expand the system in the future, the Terminator turns off, instead, the extension cord and additional T-connectors are connected. ~At the end of each trunk cable, we install the Terminator again.
~The resistor connector has a waterproof performance.
~Attached to each end of the trunk (backbone) cable to reduce reflections of the communication signals on the network.
~Proper termination helps ensure signal integrity across the entire length of the boat backbone.
